My biggest passions outside of performance are theatre education and directing.

When I was 10 years old, my mom sent me to a camp where I did “High School Musical: The Musical” in 4 weeks. I was a part of the ensemble and got costumed as a brainiac. Then, at 14 I applied for a Shakespeare intensive program at Geva Theatre where I spent everyday from 8am-5pm studying not only theatre, but how to be a passionate, kind and empathetic human. If it wasn’t for this program, and the fabulous faculty there, I would not be who I am today.

When I turned 13, my mom took me to NYC to see my first Broadway show. I looked out at the bright lights of the city and said to myself that when I grow up, I want to be somebody all the 13-year-olds with big dreams and big hearts looks up to.

That’s where this passion was planted and began to grow.

Since then, I have worked as a literature and dramaturgy intern for Geva Theatre, worked as the Kids Camp Administrator for OFC Creations, and worked several other jobs inspiring kids to harness their passion through this fantastic art.

I also found love in direction. By working under pretty incredible directors, I learned the importance of staging, storytelling and leadership. My most favorite piece I’ve directed was “Gown” by Robert Weibezal. I hope to continue this love and direct many more pieces in my future!
